Description
Euphorbia pseudocactus is a succulent shrub with a short main stem and many branches that usually grow upright. The branches have a unique shape with 4 or 5 angles, and sometimes only 3. They are green and often have yellowish-green V-shaped markings that run along the grooves. The branches tend to be thickest below the middle and can be grooved or nearly flat between the angles. The angles are wavy and have small bumps, each topped with a pair of sturdy spines. The spine shields form a continuous hard edge along the angles. The spines start brown and turn grey over time.
