Description
The Golden Barrel Cactus, also referred to as Echinocactus grusonii or Kroenleinia grusonii, is a cactus that grows slowly and has a round, typically solitary stem which takes on a barrel-like shape as it matures. Its light green stem is deeply ribbed and adorned with many areoles that produce sharp radial spines ranging from yellow to white.
