Description
Crassula ovata is an evergreen succulent shrub with thick branches and shiny, green, obovate leaves. When exposed to full sunlight, the leaves may develop red margins. The leaves grow in opposite pairs along the grey-green stems, and as the branches mature, they become woody and brown. Over time, the older bark peels in horizontal brownish strips, leaving scars of fallen leaves.
