Description
Stapelia gigantea is a flowering plant with green, fleshy stems, which are upright, velvety, and distinctly 4-angled. When the stems are exposed to direct sunlight, they may develop a purple-red hue and promote the plant’s flowering. The flowers of Stapelia gigantea are the largest within the Stapelia genus, reaching 40 cm in diameter.
