Description
Tradescantia sillamontana is a succulent, densely branched plant with fleshy, low-growing to upright stems covered with white hairs, rooting at the soil surface. The leaves are dull olive-green to grey-green and covered with white hairs. The leaves are ovate, folded, and arranged in two rows, creating a geometric pattern. They turn purplish-red when exposed to full sunlight. The undersides of the leaves are reddish-purple. This plant is used as ground cover or in hanging baskets.
