Description

Agave decipiens is a green-leafed agave with wavy margins, serrated edges, and sharp points. It forms a tight, symmetrical rosette and has been reported naturalized in Spain, India, Pakistan, and South Africa.

Studies have shown that Agave decipiens exerts molluscicide activity against Biomphalaria alexandrina, which is a snail vector responsible for transmitting Schistosomiasis (bilharzia).
