Description
Copiapoa humilis is a small, low-growing globose cactus with deep maroon, grey-green or glaucous stems. The spines start out greyish-white to yellowish and become black with age. Each areole is white-felted and bears clusters of 1 to 3 central and 7 to 13 radial spines.
