Description

Astrophytum myriostigma var. quadricostatum is a spineless cactus with four prominent vertical ribs instead of five. The green skin is densely covered in tiny white trichomes (hairs/scales), giving the cactus a velvety, powdery, or silvery-grey appearance. As they grow taller and more columnar, mature plants may develop a fifth or sixth rib.
