Huernia

The Huernia group consists of succulent plants that grow in Eastern and Southern Africa. Their flowers are shaped like bells or funnels and have five lobes. The flowers often have contrasting colours or tones and emit a scent similar to carrion to attract flies for pollination. This group is closely related to the Stapelia and Hoodia groups.
