Description
Aporocactus flagelliformis is a trailing cactus with cylindrical stems, each with clusters of bristle-like spines. The stems, which range from green to grey-green, start growing upward but eventually lie flat or hang down as they mature, branching profusely from the base. Each whitish areole bears 15 to 20 reddish-brown to reddish-yellow spines.
