Tradescantia pallida ‘Purpurea,’ commonly known as the Purple Heart Plant, features striking purple stems that grow long and trail down. The plant’s leaves will stay vibrant purple when grown in full sunlight. Although the plant can thrive in partial shade, its stems will become a greener shade under those conditions.
