Orbea

Orbeas are a type of leafless, succulent perennial plants that grow in compact clumps. The stems can be either erect or prostrate with a creeping nature. They usually have four-angled stems that are prominently sharp-toothed with a soft tip. Orbeas have well-developed tooth-like projections known as tubercules on the flanks and are always mottled purplish maroon on a green background. The mottling is especially distinct when the plant is exposed to the sun.
