Hoya

Hoya is a genus of 200+ species of tropical plants in the family Apocynaceae, commonly known as waxflowers or porcelain flowers. They are mostly epiphytic (growing on trees) or lithophytic (on rocks) vines, rarely subshrubs, with leathery, fleshy, or succulent leaves. The flowers have five horizontally spreading lobes that are tube-shaped or bell-shaped and arranged in umbels or racemes. Native to regions of Asia, Australia, and the Pacific.
