Ceropegia

Ceropegia is a genus of plants within the family Apocynaceae, native to Africa, southern Asia, and Australia. Most species have long, trailing or climbing stems, but some plants from the Canary Islands grow upright. The leaves are usually simple and grow opposite, but some might be small or missing. In certain thick-leaved species, the leaves can be fleshy. The flowers are tubular with five petals that often stick together at the tips, forming a structure resembling an umbrella, a cage, or appendage-like antennae.
